David Vendetta is a French house DJ and producer who has been crafting big hitting electronic bombs for more than a decade.
As well as being a host on respected French radio station FG DJ Radio and organising parties around the world, he has released two essential albums, Rendez-Vous and Vendetta, and has appeared on labels like Roger Sanchez’s Stealth, Ultra and Paradise Records.
Hit records from ‘Rendez-Vous’ came in the form of ‘Love to Love You Baby’ and ‘Break 4 Love’ which not only stormed the French National Charts but have in excess of 3million hits on YouTube. Its successor, Vendetta, featured collaborations with the crème of the crop in vocal talent such as Luciana with ‘Make Boys Cry’ and with Tara McDonald on ‘I Am Your Goddess’.
As a DJ, David is much in demand and each and every weekend is found laying down essential selections at clubs all across the world from Russia to Egypt, Turkey to Qatar.
Alongside guest appearances at internationally renowned superclubs, Amnesia and Pacha, Vendetta is the DJ of choice to play exclusive private parties thrown by ambassadors, presidents and royalty.
Most recently, David has seen chart success with ‘Love is Love’ – a single that sat pretty on Billboard Magazine’s Dance Club chart for weeks and hit the Music Week Upfront Club Chart at number two, as well picking up plenty of props from media and taste-making DJs alike.
That single was the first from VenSun, a new collaborative project between Vendetta and esteemed vocalist and songwriter, Sylvia Tosun. It unites Tosun’s emotive lyrics with David’s dancefloor focused house and electro beats, and marks the beginning of a great relationship guaranteed to bear plenty more fruit, starting with, The Dragon Flies EP.
This is the new pair’s debut EP outing and offers an intelligent and contemporary journey through dance music, lit up with great vocals and fantastic production.
2014 is already shaping up to be a big year for David Vendetta as he continues on his mission to deliver his music to dance floors across the globe
